Samsung is working on a new handset for the Galaxy A-series, the Galaxy A36, which is set to debut as a successor to the Galaxy A35.

While Samsung has yet to confirm the launch date and timeline, recent leaks suggest that the handset’s front camera will likely get a noteworthy upgrade.

Citing a Galaxy Club report, the Galaxy A36 will feature a 12 MP selfie camera that will likely deliver quality improvements despite the lower pixels, compared to the 13 MP sensor Samsung has been using in the A-series.

Samsung will maintain a difference in camera quality between the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56, another Samsung A-series flagship that is currently under development.
