Samsung may be gearing up for the launch of its newest addition to the Galaxy series, the Galaxy C55 5G, if recent leaks are anything to go by.

While Samsung has not officially confirmed this device, reports suggested that it has made an appearance on the Google Play Console website. The alleged listing reveals tempting details, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and 8GB of RAM.

According to the listing spotted by Gadget360, the Galaxy C55 5G is depicted with model number m55xq and is expected to run on the upcoming Android 14 operating system.

The device is rumoured to feature a full-HD+ display with a pixel resolution of 1,080×2,400 and a pixel density of 450ppi. Additionally, the handset is said to sport a hole-punch design on the display and triple rear cameras.

The rumour states that the Galaxy C55 5G could be a rebranded version of the Galaxy F55 and Galaxy M55. Moreover, two other Samsung devices are yet to be officially announced as well. The Galaxy F55 might be powered by an Exynos chipset, whereas, M55 could feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.

It’s worth noting that Samsung has not disclosed any plans regarding the revival of the Galaxy C series, and the authenticity of this information remains unconfirmed. If true, the Galaxy C55 5G is likely to target the Chinese market, following the trend of its predecessors.

The Galaxy C55 5G is expected to be solely accessible in the Chinese market, similar to earlier Galaxy C-series phones.
