Samsung has officially announced the launch date for its upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy F15, revealing some noteworthy features. Here's everything you need to know.

The Galaxy F15 is scheduled to be unveiled on March 4, 2024, at midnight IST. In its official announcement, Samsung teased that this smartphone will be the first device, priced under INR 15,000, to offer a Super AMOLED display. Additionally, the company confirmed that the Galaxy F15 will come equipped with a sizable 6,000mAh battery, likely supporting fast charging.

Gizmochina, citing official sources, reported that the Galaxy F15 boasts a triple camera setup on the rear and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. A recent leak also suggested that the device will receive four major Android OS updates and will be supported with five years of security updates.
The teaser image indicates that the smartphone features an Infinity U Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch, potentially offering a 90Hz refresh rate.
The Galaxy F15 recently made an appearance on GeekBench, revealing additional specifications and synthetic performance benchmarks. It comes with 4GB of RAM and runs on the Android 14 OS with the One UI custom skin out of the box. The device achieved a score of 690 points in the single-core test and 1752 points in the multi-core test.
