Samsung is likely to unveil the Galaxy Ring 2 at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event scheduled for January 22, 2025, according to recent reports.
This announcement is expected to coincide with the launch of Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series and Samsung's first XR headset.
Samsung Galaxy Ring 2 features
The Galaxy Ring 2 is expected to boast several significant upgrades over the original Galaxy Ring, alongside more accurate health data sensors and improved artificial intelligence (AI) features.
Additionally, the battery life of the next iteration of the Galaxy Ring is expected to be at least seven days across all sizes.
Moreover, as per a report from DigiTimes, the Galaxy Ring 2 will likely come in nine sizes like the original Galaxy Ring.
However, a recent leak suggested that Samsung will unveil sizes 14 and q5 for the Galaxy Ring 2, becoming a better competitor against Oura’s rings.
Samsung Galaxy Ring 2 launch
That said, we shouldn’t expect the Galaxy Ring 2 launch until late 2025. It is worth mentioning that the original Galaxy Ring was also teased at a January Unpacked event earlier this year; however, it saw a market release later in July.
