Samsung Galaxy Ring debuts in India with Galaxy AI, health tracking features

Samsung unveiled its highly anticipated Galaxy Ring in India on Wednesday, following the opening of pre-reservations earlier this week with a refundable deposit of INR 1,999.

Launched globally at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July alongside the latest Galaxy Z foldable series, it is Samsung's first fitness ring integrated with Galaxy AI features. 

Samsung Galaxy Ring specs

The Galaxy Ring is equipped with Samsung's Health AI features that help to track different health data. The wearable also provides snoring analysis and sleep metrics, including movement during sleep, sleep latency, and heart and respiratory rate.

However, using Samsung’s Galaxy AI feature, the Galaxy Ring can generate health reports with health metrics such as Energy Score. 

The Galaxy Ring also offers a three-sensor system comprising an optical bio-signal sensor, a temperature sensor, and an accelerometer. The device also supports the Samsung Health app and can deliver up to seven days of battery life.

The Galaxy Ring is available in nine sizes ranging from size five to size 13 along with a sizing kit that helps users find the right fit from the options available. It comes in the following three colourways: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring is priced at INR 38,999. It is available to purchase via Samsung’s official website and other select stores including, Amazon and Flipkart.
