Wearables have since their inception been undergoing a non-stop improvement phase, irrespective of smartwatches or smart rings.

To bring that continuous fluctuation to a halt, Samsung launched its Galaxy Ring to set the bar to a specific standard, with overnight wearing being the biggest selling point.

The Galaxy Ring has had a prime selling phase until very recently when users began reporting about an issue with its sleep tracking feature, standing tall as a hindrance for users going to opt in to make it a part of their bedtime routine.

According to Android Authority, the Galaxy Ring users after a month of rough use, its sleep tracking feature on the Galaxy Ring has neither lived up to people's expectations nor as a formidable contender against rival smart rings.

This goes contrary to what the Galaxy Ring was touted for: a tiny and modest form factor which is tailored for wearing to sleep.

Galaxy Ring LEDs flash at night

It has not been recognised whether the issue stems from some sort of design flaw or its build, but the Galaxy Ring starts glowing every night even after users hit the lights just before jumping into bed.

This issue is no short of an annoying foible considering the majority likes to sleep in dark settings, Leaving wearers resorting to burry their hands into sheets to subdue the glow.
