Samsung Galaxy S24 gets November 2024 update with key security fixes

Samsung have continuous focus on security updates, ensuring a safer experience for Galaxy S24 users

Samsung has started rolling out the November 2024 security update for its Galaxy S24 series, delivering 51 important security fixes to protect user data and improve device stability. 

This update, initially available in Europe, has also started reaching carrier-locked Galaxy S24 devices in the United States (US). Samsung plans to make the update available in more regions soon, including Pakistan.

Samsung Galaxy S24 update 

Galaxy S24 users can check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software Updates > Check for Updates. Once available, users can download and install it directly from their device. 

The new update, labelled with firmware code "S92xBXXS4AXJB," brings important security patches but does not include performance upgrades or new features.

While this update doesn’t introduce any performance tweaks, Samsung is actively preparing a major update with One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 for Galaxy S24 models. 

The One UI 7.0 update is anticipated to bring a revamped interface and additional features soon. 

Samsung’s continued focus on security updates ensures a safer experience for Galaxy S24 users, especially with regular patches that tackle known vulnerabilities.
