The Samsung Galaxy S25 series has secured the certification for its United States (US) launch. The series includes Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, which recently appeared on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website.

The listing indicated the imminent release of the next-generation flagship devices. Prior to this, the Galaxy S25 lineup has been spotted on certification platforms, such as Geekbench, BIS, 3C, and other certification sites.

The forthcoming handsets have been spotted on the FCC website under the model numbers SM-931U, SM-936U, and SM-938U respectively on the FCC website. The listing hinted at enhanced connectivity options, including greater compatibility with 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and NFC. 

The listing indicated that the ultra-wideband (UWB) technology will be integrated into the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra, but it will be absent in the standard Galaxy S25.

Moreover, the Galaxy S25 is expected to support 25W charging similar to its predecessor. The battery on the standard version is listed as model number EB-BS931ABY (SDI), according to the FCC.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra will support a 45W fast-charging threshold, as indicated by the travel adapter model EP-T2510.

Additionally, FCC certification revealed that the standard Galaxy S25 will support 9W wireless power transfer, referring to reverse wireless charging. It means that the upcoming flagship model can wirelessly charge other compatible devices other devices including TWS earphones.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 lineup is likely to be launched in January 2025, following the South Korean-based tech giant’s monopoly of early-year flagship launches.
