Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 Slim alongside the Galaxy S25 series, comprising the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra, at the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for January 2025.
As we await this highly anticipated event, a recent leak has revealed the key details of the Galaxy S25 Slim’s camera specs.
Galaxy S25 Slim with new camera technology
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), tipster Jukanlosreve (@Jukanlosreve) disclosed that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will utilise the All Lenses on Prism (ALoP) technology.
What is ALoP technology?
Samsung Semiconductor’s AloP technology is a telephoto camera solution that enables smartphone users to capture clear portraits during both the day and night by rearranging the structure of the lens and prism and brings additional benefits due to its more compact camera module.
The ALoP technology will likely reduce the thickness of the Galaxy S25 Slim’s telephoto camera sensor.
Galaxy S25 Slim specs
Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will likely sport a 6.6-inch screen. The handset is anticipated to be powered by Qualcomm’s recently launched Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Additionally, the Galaxy S25 Slim will be powered by a massive battery with a capacity ranging between 4,700mAh and 5,000mAh.
In camera capabilities, the Galaxy S25 Slim will sport a 200MP primary camera with an ISOCELL HP5 sensor, and two 50MP cameras with ISOCELL JN5 sensors for ultrawide and telephoto photography.
