Here’s why Galaxy Tab S10 series fits Tab S9 accessories
To see whether a tablet case is compatible with another tablet model, one needs to consider the size. For a recall, the accessories of Samsung’s high-end tablet models, Galaxy Tab S8, were incompatible with its successor Galaxy Tab S9 series as the camera cutouts and S Pen holder location were different across these two generations.
Now, the Galaxy Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra are the same size as their Tab S10 counterparts, along with the cameras also located at the same location. Therefore, the new models will easily fit in their predecessor’s accessories.
Notably, this won’t be applicable for the Galaxy Tab S9 basic variant, as Samsung decided not to release a base Galaxy Tab S10 this year, and also base Tab S9 accessories won’t fit in the size of the Tab S10 Plus and Ultra variants.
Additionally, Samsung’s commitment to reducing e-waste is also evident in cross-compatibility between the 2023 and 2024 flagship tablet generations, following earlier public criticism for requiring to purchase new accessories every year.
