The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 hype, among fans eagerly waiting for the gadget, has reached new heights with a recent leak hinting at an imminent launch.
The Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group) database has registered a new Samsung wearable with the product code SM-L305U, likely to be the version of the Galaxy Watch7.
The presence of this product code on the database is a significant indicator, as all Bluetooth devices must be listed before their public release. Moreover, the certification document revealed that the device features Bluetooth 5.3 with LE capability, the same version used in the Galaxy Watch 6.
While this certification may not tell much about the upcoming watch's features, it strongly suggests that its launch is on the horizon.
Similar to previous models, we anticipate that the Galaxy Watch 7 will be announced in July and hit the shelves in August 2024.
Speculations regarding potential specs for the upcoming wearable have been common, with some suggesting improvements in battery life and even a radical redesign, possibly featuring a square display.
Rumours have been circulating that Samsung is gearing up to host another Galaxy Unpacked event in July, where teh South Korean company is expected to unveil not only the Galaxy Watch 7 but also the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and the all-new Samsung Galaxy Ring.
There's also talk of a significant processor upgrade, promising improved speed and performance, along with the addition of sleep apnea detection for US users.
