Samsung’s new affordable Galaxy Z Flip model, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE, is likely to debut in 2025. However, the recent rumour suggests that the Z Flip FE smartphone is expected to be powered by Samsung’s in-house chipset.

The Galaxy Z Flip FE is likely to offer all foldable features at a reduced price point, making the company’s foldable phones more accessible to a broader audience.

This development goes against earlier rumours that pointed to the Z Flip FE having scaled-back features to keep costs low.

Notably, Samsung's Exynos chipsets offer a cost-effective alternative to the Snapdragon 8 series, making it ideal for budget-friendly foldable.

If the rumour has anything to go by, the South Korean giant is likely to make the shift from Qualcomm to own chipsets in select regions.

While Samsung's current foldable smartphones, such as the Z Flip 6 and Fold 6, are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the tipster also suggested that the next-generation Galaxy Z Flip which will likely be released in the second half of 2025 could get the Exynos 2500.
