The flagship Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra will be launching in January. However, a few reports suggested that the South Korean tech giant is expected to bring a significant change to its Galaxy S lineup in 2026 by cancelling the release of the standard model of Galaxy S26, leading to user disappointment, as users are highly anticipating the release of the Galaxy lineup every year.

If the reports turn out to be true, then it won’t be the first time that the South Korean tech giant would cancel any model, because it did something similar with the flagship tablet series by only launching the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, while the “Vanilla” variant went missing.

It is speculated that only Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra will be launched in January 2026 and the company would supposedly stop the manufacture of the standard model, as it won’t remain a market-competitive product till 2026.

A few popular Chinese tech manufacturers are already gearing up for the release of a flagship series, integrated with cutting-edge technology in the upcoming months that would dominate the entire tech industry, which is likely to defeat Galaxy S26.
