Right after being touted at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024, the Galaxy Ring has begun grabbing both industry attention and headlines. But its dramatically rising popularity is well justified given the artificial intelligence (AI) features and functionalities it's equipped with.

Although it's already packed with an abundance of health and fitness tracking features, the tiny gadget comes with some meticulously crafted sensors to solidify its service to the health freaks.

These sensors, Samsung said, are developed to monitor your heart rate and sleep, keeping you aware of whether you need to increase your bedtime or look after your heart health.

With the help of these sensors, the Galaxy Ring is capable of alerting the wearer when his heart rate spikes or drops to an uncommon extent. This functionality remains at play on the sidelines of a separate feature to check live heart rate.

Moreover, to let users keep good track of their sleep, the South Korean tech giant incorporated its “best in class” sleep tracking with the following five features:

  1. Sleep latency
  2. Time in bed
  3. Nighttime movement
  4. Heart rate
  5. Respiratory rate

When will Galaxy Ring release

Considering you're well aware of its release date, be also aware that preorders for the Galaxy Ring have already begun from July 10 (today). Meanwhile, as of its release, it's expected to reach the general public and consumers by July 24.
