Samsung has officially rolled out Android 15-based One UI 7 beta on the Galaxy S24 series, months after the Android 15’s launch on Pixel. It is one of the biggest updates One UI has ever received.

Initially, it will only be available in the United States, Korea, United Kingdom, India, Germany, and Poland, with the beta installation expanding to more countries later.

Visual overhaul and design enhancements in Samsung One UI 7 beta

Beginning with the design, One UI 7 beta features a visual overhaul across the entire system, including the homescreen, widgets, and more. The South Korean tech giant has teased “bold, iconic design choices,” including system app icons and the latest screen tweaks.

New AI writing assist tools in Samsung One UI 7 beta

One UI 7 beta is launched with several innovative features, including the latest “writing assist” artificial intelligence (AI) tools that assist users in summarising, checking spellings, and generating text. Users will also find call transcripts in the Phone app, while call recording is already enabled.

Redesigned Camera app

In addition, the Camera app is redesigned with reorganised buttons and modes, offering “more intuitive control over advanced settings.” The update simplifies the process to “find the features you need and provides a clear preview of the picture or video you’re recording.”
