Samsung W25 foldable unveiled in China with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset

Samsung has unveiled “W25” as a part of its latest W-series of foldable smartphones exclusively to China. It is a rebranded version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition which was recently launched in South Korea.

The Samsung W25 boasts distinctive style, combining a ceramic black finish, an iconic "Heart to the World" logo, a subtle matte texture, and a gold aluminium frame.

The Samsung W25 sports an 8-inch QXGA+ (2184 x 1968 pixels) resolution, Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+, and up to 2600nits peak brightness.

The handset’s cover screen is a 6.5-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Cover Display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. 

The Samsung W25 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. 

Backed by a 4,400mAh battery, the Samsung W25 supports 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The device runs Android 14 OS-based One UI 6.1.1. 

The Samsung W25 has a 200MP main camera, paired with a 12MP ultra wide angle lens and a 10MP telephoto shooter. It has a 10MP front camera.

The Samsung W25 is priced at CNY 15,999 for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration, whereas the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage variant is available for CNY 17,999.
