Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 got a new UI6.1 update containing the two new Galaxy AI features. On Friday, the company announced that the users of these three Galaxy phones will be able to use two new AI features — Circle to Search and Chat Assist.
The Circle to Search feature is when users tap the navigation pill, an overlay pops up so they can draw, scribble, or highlight a part of the screen to run a visual search without leaving the app. This feature can’t be seen in any other brand’s phones and is yet limited to Samsung and Google only.

The other feature, Chat Assist will help users to create texts in multiple languages through the translation of messages (both incoming and outgoing).
According to the South Korean tech giant, this feature is designed for the purpose of changing the tone of messages for users as per needs. Additionally, the feature works with third-party apps, hence, users will not have to open the app for translation while messaging.
Samsung’s announcement has a footnote in it that the Galaxy AI features will be provided "for free until the end of 2025". However, the same message was shown at the time of the Galaxy S24 series launch at the beginning of this year on the company's website.
