Silent Hill 2 remake success

Fans appreciated the changes and the fresh take on James' haunting adventure. After the success of Silent Hill 2, fans are eagerly awaiting Bloober Team's next project, Cronos: The New Dawn, set to release in 2025.

In an interview with the YouTube channel Bonfire Conversations, Mateusz Renart revealed his dream project would be a horror fantasy role-playing game (RPG) inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's work.

Host Hamidreza Nikoofar suggested a horror game based on The Lord of the Rings, to which Renart responded positively.

What to expect from Lord of the Rings horror game?

A Lord of the Rings horror game would be intriguing due to its dark mediaeval themes. The story of Frodo's quest to destroy The One Ring, while battling Sauron's forces, offers many scary characters that could be even more terrifying in a horror setting.

The Lord of the Rings franchise has received mixed success with games recently, but a horror title from Bloober Team could bring new excitement and variety.
