Snapchat, an American multimedia messaging app, is rolling out new features that will allow users to connect with the site in new ways while also improving existing experiences.

Moreover, there are also a few artificial intelligence (AI)-powered capabilities, which are being pushed out gradually. Some of these features will be exclusively available to Snapchat+ paying members.

Snapchat is introducing Editable Chats, Emoji Reactions, My AI Reminders, an AI-powered tool that generates bespoke costumes for their Bitmoji avatar, and other new features?

The most popular picture sharing app shared details of the new features in a blog post. The company stated: "Every day, Snapchatters create more than five billion snaps to visually communicate with their friends. We're now providing new features to enable Snapchatters to communicate faster, express themselves in new ways, and utilise My AI to stay organised among hectic lives and schedules."

Editable Chat is a new feature that allows users to amend their messages after they have been sent for up to five minutes. The capability functions similarly to WhatsApp message editing tool.

However, this is now only available to Snapchat+ users, but it may be expanded to include all users in the future.

Snapchat users may presently only react to messages using Bitmoji. Whereas, with the Emoji Reactions function, they will be able to react to messages using any emoji. Another noteworthy feature is My AI Reminders, which allows users to schedule reminders by sending a single message to My AI with the event name, date, and time.

In addition, once delivered, My AI will initiate an in-app countdown and send a notice when the count reaches zero. Snap Map is also receiving a slight makeover. Users will be able to use emoticons to interact with other map users.

Moreover, Snapchat will get two additional AI capabilities. The first is an AI-enabled Bitmoji costume generator. Users may now submit a brief description of their desired outfit, and the AI will produce a list of related clothes.

These clothes might have distinctive patterns, colours, designs, and so forth. The second feature, known as the '90s AI Lens, went live a few days ago. The AI Lens is essentially an AI-powered filter that automatically applies creative effects to images when they are clicked. This specific one incorporates '90s motifs.
