Imagine having a personal assistant that can virtually see and understand what you are looking at? Solos, a smart glasses company, are making this a reality with their upcoming AirGo Vision glasses.

These smart glasses will be integrated with the OpenAI's GPT-4o AI model that can perform several tasks including recognising the objects, answering questions, and even integrating with other AI models like Google Gemini and Anthropic's Claude.

Interestingly, the AirGo Vision glasses will be equipped with a swappable frame system, allowing users to switch out camera for different frames or sun shades. The glasses will also be having notification LEDs from which the users will be able to get to know about the incoming calls or emails easily, also they will be able to answer questions over audio.

With the power of OpenAI’s GPT-4o, the glasses can recognise objects and provide information about what the user sees.

Moreover, the Solos AirGo Vision glasses are the first smart glasses to integrate OpenAI's GPT-4o AI model, which is a more advanced version of the popular GPT-3 model. This means that the glasses will be able to understand and respond to the users’ complex queries and even integrate with other AI models.

Relaese date and pricing of Solos AirGo Vision glasses

The Solos AirGo Vision glasses are set to release later this year, while a specific date is yet to be announced. The company will also release a non-camera version of the glasses in July for $249.99.

However, Meta's Ray-Ban Smart Glasses are currently leading the tech market with its innovative features, but the upcoming Solos are gearing up to give them a run for their money. If both of the smart glasses prices are compared then the Meta's glasses start at $299, whereas Solos' AirGo Vision will likely cost more than $249, but the exact price is yet to be announced.
