Sony has released its new devices, the Sony Bravia Theatre Bar 8 and Bravia Theatre Bar 9 soundbars for Indian consumers at a starting price of INR 89,990.
Sony said that it has included features like 360 Spatial Sound mapping, Dolby Atmos, and 360 Reality Audio on these soundbars for a better audio output. In addition, they are compatible with IMAX Enhanced.

The Sony Bravia Theatre Bar 8 and Sony Bravia Theatre Bar 9 are available at INR 89,990 and INR 1,29,990. They can be purchased through e-commerce platforms, Sony retail stores, and major electronic stores, among other platforms.

The Sony Bravia Theatre Bar 8 features 11 speakers, while the Bravia Theatre Bar 9 has 13 speakers. They include the company’s 360 Spatial Sound mapping technology, which offers a wide sound field that surrounds the listener with audio from various directions for improved and powerful audio.
The Japan-based tech giant mentioned that these Bravia Theatre Bar 8 and BRAVIA Theatre Bar 9 soundbars are compatible with Sound Field Optimisation, signifying they can adjust and tune each speaker based on the layout of the user’s room automatically.

The newly released Sony soundbars have Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and IMAX Enhanced certification for immersive home-theatre-like sound experiences. Along with that, they also offer 360 Reality Audio for better audio clarity.
Meanwhile, Voice Zoom 3, an AI-powered feature in these soundbars, improves dialogue clarity for clear and prominent speech amidst background sounds. They incorporate HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) and Optical Input for connectivity with other devices.
According to the company, the Bravia Theatre Bar 8 and Bravia Theatre Bar 9 support 8K/4K at 120Hz, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) for gaming, which provides a smooth and responsive gameplay with reduced lagging.
