The massive sales are reportedly drawn by gaming fanatics who love to keep up with Sony's evolving PlayStation ecosystem. What sets this startling pace of sellout of a gaming gadget is that PS5 Pro was officially announced on September 10.

Although a significant chunk of PS freaks consider the console to be listed at an exorbitant price tag, there are still those who found it affordable and bought it right after its rollout.
Massive sales of latest PS5 consoles on Amazon, Target, Best Buy
Citing sources, Android Headlines reported that the disc drive add-on is undergoing an enormous pace of sellouts with no stopover in sight. The publication adds that the latest PS5 consoles are out of stock at the inventory of the leading retailer juggernaut Amazon. As of Target and Best Buy, they too are reportedly running out of available units.
The primary reason behind this hefty toll on sales is that the $700 USD console doesn’t come with the disc drive add-on, which is a compelling point for avid gamers to spend an extra $80 for that.
The cost of top-notch PS gaming could also require an additional $30 for players to have the new stand which enables vertical positioning of the PS5 Pro.
