SSGC to suspend gas supply for 6 hours tomorrow

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) on Saturday announced that parts of Balochistan would experience a six-hour load-shedding tomorrow (Sunday).

The SSGC, in a statement issued in this regard, stated that gas supply to Quetta, Mastung, Kalat, Kuchlak, Ziarat, Sariab, Hazarganji, Nawa Kili, Mari Abad and other areas would remain suspended from 10am to 4pm on March 10.

Apologising for the inconvenience, the company urged the customers of the areas to arrange alternative means during this period.

Earlier this week, the gas supply company also announced its gas schedule for the month of Ramadan — which is expected to begin on March 12 (Tuesday).

During Ramadan, consumers in Sindh and Balochistan will only have access to the commodity for 13 hours

Gas will be provided to consumers between 3:00am to 9:00am (Sehri) and 3:00pm to 10:00pm (Iftaar) in Ramadan.
