Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl patch notes
So developers of the Stalker have announced the first post-launch update patch notes:
- Crash fix
- Previously, issues with the memory allocation failures were causing the game to crash and exit game all of a sudden especially during rendering, skeletal meshes and quest-related cut-scenes.
- Main quest fix
- Many bugs would affect the main quest progression, non-player characters (NPCs) getting stuck into different objects, misleading quest markers and problems during cut-scenes. To ensure a smooth transition of the game to avoid such rare cases, In which players are not able to proceed further include the revision of main quests — such as Visions of Truth or A Minor Incident.
- Gameplay adjustments
- The update includes weapons upgrades along with the price of in-game purchases without value attachments. NPCs' behaviour is fixed during and after emission when they are left without shelter.
- Cut-scenes & visual fixes
- There were some missing facial animations, NPCs' positioning was wrong and visual inconsistencies such as clothes clipping and detached heads of NPCs. Stalker 2 updates have brought more quality and stability improvements in its visual effects.
- Softlock fix
- The problem was when players were getting stuck at the trading screen and placing ammo in the wrong slot, especially while playing on the gamepad.
- User interface (UI) improvements
- Now when a quest is completed, notification will show up correctly during dialogues, corrected texts and missing interactions are prompt.
