Developers of Stalker 2 GSC Game World confirmed the release date for the PC system. The game is scheduled to release on November 20, 2024.

Development of the game faced significant difficulties because of the ongoing Ukraine war, so the initial release was set up in September but was delayed due to bug-fixing updates. The concerns were addressed regarding the “downgrade” of the gameplay in 2023, but the developers of the game assured about the quality of the game.

Stalker 2 PC specifications

The Stalker 2 PC comes with four graphic presets, such as low, high, and epic, including the target resolutions for each Frame Rate Per Second (FPS). GSC Game World, the developer of Stalker 2, recommended using high graphics presets for the best experience, as it provides 60fps gameplay at 1440p resolution.

GSC Game World tweeted, “Examine the final system requirements carefully to adjust according to your machinery for a trouble-free connection to the noosphere."

The game will require Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti/RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT GPU and 32GB of RAM for the high graphics preset of the game. While for the low and medium graphic preset versions of the game, it will require 16GB of RAM and less powerful GPUs.

However, all types of graphic presets will require 160GB of solid-state drive (SSD) storage that will take your gaming experience to the next level.

GSC Game World has confirmed Stalker 2 will be featuring upscaling options for DLSS and FSR. The Stalker 2 specifically comes with DLSS3 and Reflex, so all the players with the GeForce RTX 40 series use DLSS 3 with its Generation and Super Resolution right away, which will speed up the performance of the game.
