Stardew Valley fans on mobile can finally enjoy multiplayer mode on Android and iOS. With the latest Stardew Valley update 1.6.9, mobile players now have the chance to join friends on farming adventures, just as desktop and console players have been able to.

Stardew Valley 1.6.9 update

In Stardew Valley, a popular farming simulation game, players build farms, grow crops, raise animals, and explore a pixel-art world filled with characters, events, and surprises.

The new mobile multiplayer feature works a little differently on Android and iOS. To join a multiplayer session, players need to manually enter an IP address to connect.

This setup is best for playing on a local network, making it easy for friends on the same Wi-Fi to join each other’s farms.

Interestingly, mobile users can even join a game hosted on a PC, giving them the flexibility to connect across devices as long as they use the IP connection method.

How to access Stardew Valley multiplayer mode

To activate multiplayer mode, there’s a hidden trick on the title screen. Players need to input a special code by tapping the leaves around the “Stardew Valley” logo in a particular order: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right (↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← →).

After that, they are required to press the “?” button in the bottom right corner. This sequence unlocks the “Co-op” button, allowing them to enter an IP address and start playing together.

This secret multiplayer feature adds a new layer of fun to Stardew Valley, especially for mobile users who can now collaborate with friends and explore each other’s farms.
