Tecno is set to launch its new foldable smartphones, Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 and Flip 2, in India this week. Notably, Amazon has listed the new foldable smartphones on its India site, revealing the launch date and key features of the handsets.
Tecno Phantom V 2 series launch in India
Tecno is confirmed to launch its Phantom V Fold 2 and Phantom V Flip 2 in India on December 6.
Tecno Phantom V 2 series specs
The Indian variant of Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 will have a 6.42-inch cover display and a 5,750mAh battery. The clamshell foldable phone is said to ship with artificial intelligence (AI)-powered features, such as AI Image Cutout, Magic Removal, and Ella AI Writing.
Amazon, the biggest e-commerce giant, has created landing pages on its website to tease the arrival of the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 and Phantom V Flip 2.
The Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 offers Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, 70W wired charging support, and 15W wireless charging support. The foldable handsets are confirmed to sport a triple rear camera unit, having a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP portrait camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The phone will have two 32MP cameras for selfies. It is said to house 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
Meanwhile, the Indian variant of the Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 is teased to have Gorilla Glass 8 protection, a 4,720mAh battery supporting 70W charging, a 6.9-inch main screen, and a 3.64-inch cover screen.
It features dual 50MP outward-facing cameras and a 32MP camera with autofocus.
Moreover, the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 is confirmed to be launched in Karst Green and Rippling Blue colour options in India, while the Phantom V Flip 2 will be available in Moondust Grey and Travertine Green colour options.
