Telecom licensing revamped: PTA launches online Application Submission and Information System

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) announced to launch of its Online Application Submission and Information System (OASIS) which can be accessed at https://eservices.pta.gov.pk. 

The national telecom regulatory body has established the OASIS system to revamp the licensing procedure for both telecom companies and their applicants nationwide. 

Launched on August 14, the OASIS system encompasses all the aspects of the application process for the grant of telecom licenses, simplifying it for applicants to complete the application process in a hassle-free manner.

The implementation of this organised system indicates the willful stride PTA has opted for to reinvigorate the telecom sector. 

One of the biggest perks telecom applicants can take out of the OASIS is the automated verification of CNICS from the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), real-time company registration verification with SECP, and online payments with the integration of the banking system of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP).
