In a remarkable development, a myriad of TestFlight leaks has emerged on the internet, and it seems that thousands of classic iOS apps and games will soon reappear on the App Store after vanishing for years.

Macrumors, referring to a report released by Eurogamer, mentioned that a bunch of TestFlight — anonymously shared on X (previously Twitter) — files were discovered that were stored on Wayback Machine.

These leaked files contain early versions of apps and games dating back between 2012 and 2015, which came even before Apple bought TestFlight.

It seems that the leaks have made their way out of a cloud storage server that was set up the wrong way.

Surprisingly, it was put there back in March 2015 from the old TestFlightApp.com site, and no one noticed it until it popped up on Twitter.

What TestFlight leaks entail

The @teraleak account has disseminated the game and app files they discovered. Up until now, they've shown some interesting stuff like versions of Angry Birds that were never released, a game called Infinity Blade Dungeons that got cancelled, a trial version of Sonic Dash, and much more.

Lots of apps and games got taken off the App Store, and you can't get them from Apple anymore. This leak helps keep some of those old titles around.

However, you can't use these downloads on the newest devices, except people being able to figure out ways to make it work in the future.
