In 2023, apps developed in Pakistan were downloaded 1.6 billion times globally. However, to support this growth, Google today hosted Think Apps 2024 in Lahore, bringing together top developers, industry leaders, and experts.
Google remains committed to support Pakistan's gaming and app industry, launching new programs like Game Design Masterclass and Google Ads Academy.
These initiatives empower developers to harness artificial intelligence (AI), drive innovation, and create sustainable businesses. Pakistan can expect a $6.6 billion annual increase in revenue potential by 2030 by focusing on digital exports, with the gaming and app industry identified as a key growth opportunity area.
