Apple, the Cupertino-based tech giant launched a radically redesigned watchOS 10 back in September 2023 with significant design alterations breaking the monopoly of its watches since the establishment of the Apple Watch.

Apple introduced two major changes in how you navigate your Apple Watch. However, this change failed to captivate users, but it integrated a similar change in WatchOS 11 too despite the user's disappointment.

Control Center on Apple Watch

In the predecessors of watchOS 10, users could easily navigate to App Switcher by pressing the side buttons. But in watchOS 10, the Cupertino-based tech giant altered it to open the Control Center.

Additionally, before this feature, users were allowed to access the Control Center by swiping up from the bottom of their watch.

According to a few tech enthusiasts, the reason behind the launch of this update is likely easy access to Control Center from a third-party app. But users don’t frequently use it instead of toggling to the silent mode.

Widgets View

Another significant change was the launch of the latest widget view in watchOS 10, which users can easily access by scrolling up from the bottom of the watch.

It would exhibit you a few quick widgets including Weather, Fitness, Stocks, and more. This view would help to quickly detect anything and get into the third-party app within the blink of an eye. But, in the soon-to-be-launched model, watchOS 11 shows immense support for showing Live Activities, which is quite interesting.

However, Apple users expect the launch of another update to swap these two features for their convenience, because very few users have already adopted it, whereas a few are still not used to it. So by this "Swap" feature, users would get an option if they would like to keep it in the old interface or change it.
