TikTok is taking a new step to enhance the users experience by introducing TikTok Spotlight. This feature creates in-app hubs for movies and TV shows so you can seek more information about your favourite titles.
Moreover, the portal will display options to purchase tickets or stream such titles on any streaming platform.
TikTok Spotlight feature will automatically add links to fan-made videos about movies and television shows that point users to a landing page with more information about the title.

This could include cast lists, related content, links to official accounts, options for buying tickets or watching the title on a streaming service, and more.
How TikTok Spotlight works?
The platform uses a mix of tech and human moderation to determine which videos are eligible for an anchor link out to a hub. It considers things like hashtags and keywords in use, matched audio and visual technology, an individual video's views, the creator's follower count, and policy compliance.
In addition, creators will not be paid for any anchor links, though they'll be able to join specially created incentive programs, receiving exclusive profile frames, filters, merchandising, and more.
