Upcoming smartphones of December 2024 in India
iQOO 13
The iQOO 13 is set to launch in India on December 3, featuring the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The handset will be powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery and will support 120W fast charging, ensuring efficient power replenishment.
The phone is expected to feature a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP 3x telephoto lens. For selfie enthusiasts, the device will come with a 32MP front camera.
With its powerful processor and versatile camera setup, the iQOO 13 is expected to be a strong contender in the flagship smartphone market.
Vivo X200 series
Vivo is preparing to launch the Vivo X200 series in India, although the official release date is still under wraps. The Vivo X200 is likely to feature the MediaTek 9400 processor, complemented by 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
For optics, the Vivo X200 is expected to feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 telemacro 3x sensor, while the X200 Pro could include a 200MP Samsung HP9 telemacro sensor with 3.7x optical zoom. Both models are equipped with a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front camera, ensuring impressive photography performance across different shooting conditions.
OnePlus 13
The OnePlus 13 is expected to launch in India in December, coinciding with the release of the OnePlus 13R and OnePlus Watch 3.
Based on specifications from the Chinese variant, the OnePlus 13 is likely to feature a 6.82-inch BOE X2 2K+ AMOLED display, capable of delivering a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It is expected to integrate an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, enhancing security and the user experience.
In terms of battery performance, the OnePlus 13 is expected to house a massive 6,000mAh battery, supporting 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, ensuring smooth performance for demanding applications and multitasking.
Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 and Tecno Phantom V Flip 2
Tecno is reportedly preparing to release the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 and Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 in India. The Phantom V Flip 2 is expected to be a rehashed version of the Infinix Zero Flip, featuring a compact foldable design.
Meanwhile, the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 is likely to boast a 6.9-inch Full HD+ LTPO AMOLED primary display with a 3.64-inch AMOLED outer display, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor and housing a 4,720mAh battery.
The Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 is expected to retain the design and features of its predecessor, with an enhanced display setup. Its 7.85-inch LTPO AMOLED inner display and 6.42-inch LTPO AMOLED external display aim to provide a superior viewing experience.
As for the Phantom V Flip 2, it will likely focus on a foldable form factor, offering an adaptable option for those seeking a more portable device.
