Toyota is currently facing low levels of raw material along with component inventory and struggling through supply chain challenges which has adversely affected the production of vehicles.
As a result, Toyota Indus Motor Company Limited (IMC) has temporarily suspended all ongoing operations at its production plant from September 26 (Thursday) to September 30 (Monday).

The news came to development after the company released an official statement in a disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange mentioning: “Consequently, the Company has decided to temporarily suspend operations at its production plant from September 26, 2024, to September 30, 2024, both days inclusive.”
Additionally, the news regarding the temporary suspension of the leading automotive manufacturer in Pakistan came at a time, when the country is already experiencing a downfall in different industries and facing several economic issues. However, Toyota has reassured users that the company is seamlessly working to resolve the upheaval and is expected to resume regular operations soon.
