Twitch is making changes to its mobile subscriptions, affecting users worldwide. The popular live-streaming platform is adjusting its pricing model, which may impact its user base.
What’s Twitch's recent price model?
Twitch is going to increase the price of its Tier one subscriptions and gift subscriptions on mobile devices to $7.99 monthly. The change will hit Android and iOS users across more than 40 countries. Most likely, it's because of the app store fees by Google and Apple.

The new price will come into effect in October, with subscriptions renewing automatically on November 1. Nothing will change for Tier two and Tier three subscriptions. Mostly users are furious, as this increase is going to directly impact their ability to support streamers.
