Once again, on Tuesday, access to X, previously known as Twitter, faced disruptions in Pakistan for the third consecutive day.
Users across the country reported difficulty navigating to the micro-blogging site, indicating that access to the social media platform was either hindered or possibly restricted.
This outage occurred shortly after the service had been restored following nearly 24 hours of restricted access to X on Monday.
According to Downdetector.pk, a platform that monitors real-time internet and social media outages, there were several complaints of inaccessibility to the platform across the country around 04:00pm on February 19, 2024. The complaints continued today with outages peaking around 10:00am.
Numerous users encountered challenges accessing the social media platform, consistently receiving a message stating, "Something went wrong, but don’t fret — let’s give it another shot," whenever they attempted to load it.
It's noteworthy that Pakistan has been facing frequent disruptions in internet and social media platforms, particularly in recent months amid the circumstances following the 2024 general election.
