The race of artificial intelligence (AI) among the top and most renowned tech tycoons to surpass one another is on the loose from its blurry boundaries.
Considering the pace at which the technology is being integrated into gadgets and devices — irrespective of smartphones and gadgets — it now appears that everything digital will soon be equipped with AI.
To keep up with the prevalent bandwagon around AI, Amazon is reportedly working to enhance its smart home virtual assistant Amazon Alexa, regarding which reports claim that it might cost up to $10 per month.

New Amazon Alexa in two tiers
Citing sources, Android Police reported that the revamped form of Amazon Alexa would accompany conversational generative AI, while the company is mulling to offer it as a two-tier service.
While one of the upcoming two tiers is said to be offered free of cost, the premium tier is currently being deliberated to be offered for between $5 and %10 a month, with Amazon having no plans to incorporate it with its $139 yearly Amazon Prime subscription.
Since Amazon does not directly generate revenue with its in-house Alexa presently offered inside Amazon devices, it did not undertake any substantial enhancements to it, leading to its lower rank in the sphere of smart home gadgets backed by AI.
Amazon Alexa updated version Remarkable Alexa
With an improved iteration of Amazon Alexa, internally dubbed "Remarkable Alexa" by the company, Amazon eyes "meaningful" sales, which some company employees said is a "desperate attempt" for its betterment.
Among the capability-rich prowess entailed alongside Remarkable Alexa, the most notable ones include writing emails, giving shopping advice, and order delivery from Uber Eats.
Amazon charging for Alexa
To charge an Amazon Alexa device, plug the provided power adapter into the device and then into an electrical outlet. Some models, like the Echo Input Portable, use a USB cable for charging. Devices without batteries, like the Echo Dot, must stay plugged in to operate.
