CARROT Weather has announced its integration into Apple's recently released, top-end virtual reality (VR) headset, the Apple Vision Pro.

The company said the app will soon be available on the Vision Pro with its full potential, comprehensively consisting of all of its signature capabilities of weather forecasting.

To be incorporated and become compatible with the Vision Pro's visionOS, the weather app has undergone a substantial restructuring to ensure seamless integrity of its features that provide information like current temperature, hourly and daily forecasts, sunrise and sunset times, Moon phases, air quality, and more.

Brian Mueller, the developer of CARROT Weather, characterised the globe as the "marquee feature" of the app, saying that "it's just really cool being able to look at a globe floating in your living room."

Users can engage with the witty AI character CARROT and participate in mini-games through the "ornament" located at the bottom of the app's interface. The Apple Vision Pro is set to launch on Friday, and CARROT Weather announced that its visionOS app will be accessible in the App Store at around 7 a.m. Pacific Time on that day.

A subscription is necessary to unlock all of the app's features, with prices in the US ranging from $4.99 to $14.99 per month or $19.99 to $59.99 per year, depending on the chosen tier.

CARROT Weather will be among more than 250 apps with native visionOS support available on the first day. Vision Pro is also compatible with over a million iPad and iPhone apps.
