There are different games available on the Vision Pro, but a major element is always missing, controllers. The dependence on only eye tracking and hand gestures restricts plenty of games which can be played.

Currently, Surreal Touch unveiled that it is working on 6DoF controllers built for the Apple Vision Pro. The controllers comes with two buttons and a joystick, offered in two colourways — glossy Pearl White and frosted Stellar Grey.

However, the third-party vision controller announced that the controllers have “omnidirectional sensing” and a “proprietary spatial computing algorithm” that the company has developed internally, which it claims to result in the “ultimate precision and latency.”

Moreover, this new innovation offers the controllers stable performance and efficient battery life, but no specific claims about battery life were unveiled.

The most intriguing angle of what Surreal Touch is doing is the SDK (software development kit) that was generated for porting over popular games. There have been videos uploaded of some of the most popular VR games, like Half-Life: Alyx and Beat Saber.

Pairing the ultimate clarity and quality of the Vision Pro’s visuals with these great games is exactly what VR enthusiasts have been requiring.

Notably, developers are ready to take the Vision Pro in a new direction, even if it might not be how Apple indicated the product to be utilised. However, Surreal Touch has not yet disclosed details on pricing or launch date, while it’s something the users are eagerly waiting for.
