Vivo is set to launch its S-series smartphone — the Vivo S20 series — in China next week. The S20 lineup will comprise the standard Vivo S20 and S20 Pro, which will succeed the Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro.
The company has revealed the design of the smartphones announcing its colour options. On the other hand, almost all of its specifications have leaked in the last few weeks.
Vivo S20 series launch date
On Weibo, Vivo shared that the S20 series will launch on November 28 at 7:00pm (4:30pm IST). Moreover, the company shared images showcasing the design and colour options of the Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro.
The Vivo S20 is confirmed to be available in Jade Dew White, Phoenix Feather Gold, and Pine Smoke Ink shades, while the Vivo S20 Pro will be launched in Phoenix Feather Gold, Pine Smoke Ink and Purple Air finishes.
Vivo S20 series specifications
According to the shared images, the Vivo S20 will be featured with a dual rear camera setup, while the Vivo S20 Pro will be sported with a triple rear camera setup. Along with it, both models have the Aura Light ring LED for portrait shots.
Notably, both models are already offered for pre-reservations in China. As per the listing, the Vivo S20 will house a 6,500mAh battery and a 7.19mm thick profile. The Vivo S20 Pro is confirmed to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset and will sport a 50MP Sony periscope telephoto sensor.
Customers can easily avail of the benefits of CNY 278 (approximately INR 3,000) on the pre-booking of smartphones.
According to past leaks, the Vivo S20 Pro will boast a 6.67-inch display with a 1.5K (1,260x2,800 pixels) resolution and a 50MP selfie camera. Vivo is rumoured to sport a 5,500mAh battery on the Pro model with 90W charging support.
