Vivo has unveiled its latest S series, the Vivo S20 series, in China comprising two models: Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro.

The Vivo S20 series debuts as a successor to the Vivo S19 lineup and is available in Phoenix Feather Gold, Jade Dew White, and Pine Smoke Ink colours.

Vivo S20 series specs

Both handsets in the Vivo S20 series sport a 6.67-inch (1260 x 2800 pixels) 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 5,000nits.

The Vivo S20 base model features a flat display while the Pro variant sports a quad-curved panel.

The Vivo S20 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. However, the Vivo S20 Pro boasts a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset.

The Vivo S20 packs a 6,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, while the Vivo S20 Pro is backed by a 5,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.

The Vivo S20 features a dual rear camera unit, comprising a 50MP sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The handset also features a 50MP selfie camera.

On the other hand, the Vivo S20 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP Sony primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto sensor.

Vivo S20 series price

The Vivo S20 variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage is available for CNY 2,299, while the one with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration is priced at CNY 2,999.

However, the Vivo S20 Pro with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 3,399. Both handsets are available for preorder in China.
