Vivo has released the specifications of its new model Vivio V40 SE 5G online before the official launch in the market.
The company has yet not announced the price and launch date of the model. Users can find the details and specifications on the official Vivo EU website alongside the Vivo Austria website.
Vivo V40 SE 5G specifications
The Vivo V40 SE 5G comes with a super Amoled display at a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels on the 6.67-inch full-HD screen. The display supports lighting fast 120Hz refresh rate, a local peak brightness level of 1,800 nits, and a 394ppi pixel density.
The Android version runs on the Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14, powered by Octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, which is paired with Adreno 613 GPU.
Furthermore, supporting this setup a 8GB RAM and 256GB inbuilt storage space which can be expanded up to 1TB. On the back, a triple camera setup can be spotted, having a 50MP HD main lens, an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, placed within the centered hole-punch slot at the top of the screen, is a 16MP portrait lens.

The Vivo V40 SE 5G features an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, alongside an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The device sports 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C connectivity.
The company offers two variants, where the Crystal Black variant weighs 185.5g and has dimensions of 163.17mm x 75.81mm x 7.79mm. Whereas, the Leather Purple variant weighs 191g and is slightly thicker at 7.99mm.
