Vivo Watch GT launched, boasts 21-day battery life

Vivo, a Chinese tech company, released its new smart watch: Vivo Watch GT in China along with the Vivo S19 series on Thursday. The smartwatch runs on BlueOS and supports more than 100 preset sports modes. It features a 2.5D borderless curved display and a functional, revolving crown.

Moreover, the watch houses battery time of 21 days and e-SIM support. It features several health and wellness trackers like heart rate and blood oxygen sensors. The smart wearable is also compatible with the Vivo Health App.

Vivo Watch GT availability

The Vivo Watch GT eSim along with silicone strap variant in China costs CNY 799 (approximately INR 9,200). Whereas, the eSIM along with faux leather strap variant is available for CNY 899 (approximately INR 10,400). The silicone strap is appeared in a Summer Night Black shade, whereas the vegan leather strap unfolds in a white colourway marketed as Clear Sky and White Clouds.

The watch is open for reservations now through the official Vivo China e-store and will go on sale from June 14.

Vivo Watch GT specifications

The Vivo Watch GT features a 1.85-inch 2.5D curved AMOLED display with 390 x 450 pixels resolution and Always-On-Display (AOD) support. It is featured with Vivo's BlueOS AI-backed features like AI Shorthand. The feature provide users to directly record voice files from the watch, which would synchronise and save the particular files in the Atom Note app.

Moreover, it sports AI Watch Face, which can create watch faces by voice prompts of users. The newly released Vivo smartwatch is featured with optical heart rate and blood oxygen level sensors. In addition, the Vivo Watch GT helps track stress levels along with sleep and menstrual cycles. Data from these trackers are synchronised with and can be used through the Vivo Heath App. The Vivo Watch GT featured some additional specifications, including acceleration, gyroscope, geomagnetic and ambient light.

The Vivo Watch GT boasts a 505mAh battery with magnetic pin charging support. With eSIM usage along with Bluetooth connectivity and the battery saving mode, the watch offers a battery life of up to nine days, which falls up to three days with normal use.

The watch is confirmed to offer up to 21 days of battery time with only Bluetooth functions on and no eSIM usage in a battery saving mode and up to 10 days with normal usage. The Vivo Watch GT sports LTE connectivity through eSIM along with Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, Beidou and NFC for payments.

In addition, the watch is equipped with a speaker and microphone supports a rotating, functional crown. It weighs 33 grams and dimensions are measured with 45.8 x 39.6 x 11.2mm in size.
