Vivo has recently revealed its new bookstyle foldable smartphone series, the Vivo X Fold 3, in China, featuring the Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro models. A recent report suggests that the Vivo X Fold 3 is also slated for release in India.

An industry insider, as reported by 91mobiles, claims that the Vivo X Fold 3 is set to debut in India. This device is touted as the industry's slimmest foldable smartphone, surpassing the already thin Vivo X Fold 2, which measures 12.9mm in thickness.

Vivo X Fold 3 specs

Specific details about the Vivo X Fold 3's features in the Indian market haven't been disclosed yet. However, based on its launch in China, some expectations can be set. The Chinese variant of the Vivo X Fold 3 showcases a 6.53-inch external screen and an 8.03-inch internal display.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the device houses a robust 5,500mAh battery supported by 80W fast charging. The smartphone is equipped with a 50MP main camera and a 32MP front camera for high-quality photography.

In terms of design, the Vivo X Fold 3 sports a unique circular camera module at the back, along with armour glass protection. Despite its features, the phone remains lightweight at just 219 grams and impressively slim at 4.65mm when folded. The pricing for the Vivo X Fold 3 in China starts at CNY 6,999, approximately INR80,700, setting a benchmark for its expected pricing in India.
