After its global debut in November, the Vivo X200 series is poised to go official in the Indian market this month.
Although Vivo India has not officially announced a release date, a credible source has leaked the purported launch date and sales details of the upcoming series.
Vivo X200 series release date in India
On X (formerly Twitter), tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) claimed that the Vivo X200 series, including the Vivo X200 base model and Vivo X200 Pro, will be launched in India on December 12.
The tipster also noted that the X200 lineup will be on sale starting from December 19 via Amazon, Flipkart, and Vivo India online store.
The Vivo X200 lineup also includes an X200 Pro Mini variant but is expected to remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
Vivo X200 series specs
Both models in the Vivo X200 series will boast MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipsets paired with 16 GB of RAM. The handsets will run on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15.
The Vivo X200 is anticipated to be powered by a 5,800mAh battery, while the Pro variant will boast a massive 6,000mAh battery. Both handsets will support 90W fast charging, while the X200 Pro will also have 30W wireless charging support.
The Vivo X200 Pro will feature a V3+ imaging chip and a 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto camera, which comes with optical image stabilisation (OIS) for smoother shots, along with 3.7x zoom. On the other hand, the base X200 model will offer a 50 MP periscope lens with 3x zoom.
