Vivo Y100t launched: Guess the processor, enormous battery under the hood!

Vivo launched the Y100t in China on Friday, adding to its Y series lineup. This latest smartphone from the company is offered in three different colour choices and operates on Android 13 with Vivo's OriginOS 3 interface layered on top. 

It boasts a 6.64-inch LCD with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8200 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. The Vivo Y100t features a primary camera of 64 megapixels along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It is equipped with a powerful 5,000mAh battery with rapid 120W fast charging support.

Vivo Y100t specifications

The Vivo Y100t is a dual SIM (Nano) device running on Android 13-based OriginOS 3. It boasts a 6.64-inch full-HD+ LCD with a high 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it houses a 4nm Dimensity 8200 chipset by MediaTek and supports up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. 

It is equipped with up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Connectivity-wise, it supports 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C. The device also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack. 

The Vivo Y100t has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. It packs a substantial 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W SuperVOOC charging and 65W USB-PD charging. The device measures 8.79mm in thickness and weighs 200g, as per Vivo's specifications.

On the back, there's a dual-camera setup comprising a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it features a 16-megapixel front camera.

Vivo Y100t price and availability

According to Gadgets360, the Vivo Y100t starts at CNY 1,449 (approximately INR 17,560) for the base variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Additionally, there are options with 12GB of RAM paired with either 256GB or 512GB of storage, priced at CNY 1,649 (roughly INR 19,310) and CNY 1,849 (about INR 21,660) respectively. 

The smartphone will be up for sale in China starting February 28 through Vivo's online store. It is offered in Far Mountain Green, Moon Shadow Black, and Snowy White colour variants.
