Vivo launched the Y200e 5G smartphone in India on February 22, expanding its lineup with a new offering. This device features a dual rear camera setup and is available in two material options: vegan leather or textured plastic.
It is powered by a 4nm octa-core Qualcomm chipset, supports wired fast charging and runs on an Android 14-based OS out of the box. The Vivo Y200e 5G is offered in two RAM and storage configurations and is currently open for pre-orders, joining the previously launched Vivo Y200 5G in the lineup, which was introduced in October 2023.

The Vivo Y200e 5G boasts a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,800nits peak brightness. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage, expandable virtually up to an additional 8GB of RAM and up to 1TB via microSD card.
The device runs on Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14. The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 44W wired fast charging support and offers connectivity options like 5G, 4G, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C. It also comes with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

The Vivo Y200e 5G features a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, there's a 16-megapixel selfie camera housed within a centred hole-punch cutout.

According to Gadgets360, the Vivo Y200e 5G starts at INR 19,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 128GB option is priced at INR 20,999. It comes in a Black Diamond colour with a textured plastic rear panel and a Saffron Delight shade with a vegan leather finish.

Pre-orders are currently available on the Vivo India website, with HDFC and ICICI Bank cardholders eligible for an INR 1,000 instant discount on transactions made between February 22 and February 29. The phone is expected to go on sale from March 1, according to its Flipkart listing.
