Vivo has officially unveiled the Y300 in China with several innovative features, including the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, a massive 6,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging capacity, and more, offering an intuitive and smooth user experience.

The recently launched Vivo Y300 runs on OriginOS 5, based on Android 14, featuring an enlarged 6.77-inch Full-HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080x2,392 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and boasts 1,300 nits of peak brightness, ensuring vibrant visuals.
The Vivo Y300 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with a Mali-G57 GPU. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage configuration. However, the Indian variant of the Vivo Y300 5G houses a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset instead.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Vivo Y300 features a dual rear camera setup: a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary shooter with an f/2.4 aperture. It also has an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.05 aperture, making it a substantial choice for photography enthusiasts.
For connectivity, the Vivo Y300 supports Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and OTG. It also features Wi-Fi, a USB Type-C port, an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, an e-compass, a gyroscope, a proximity sensor, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Additionally, it includes a face unlock feature and a three-way speaker system with hi-res audio certification.
Furthermore, the Vivo Y300 is packed with a massive 6,500mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging, ensuring long-lasting battery performance and quicker charging times. It is offered in several tantalising colours, including Green Pine, Snow White, and Star Diamond Black.
Vivo Y300 price and availability
The Vivo Y300 is priced at CNY 1,399 for the standard 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB RAM, and storage models are available at CNY 1,599 and CNY 1,999, respectively. The recently launched handset is currently available to purchase in China through Vivo’s official store.
