Waymo One, a fully autonomous ride-hailing service from Alphabet (Google's parent company), as part of its expansion plan has announced to offer early access tickets to take fully autonomous Waymo One rides” for the resident of Los Angeles (LA).
The robotaxi service was initially available in only two states of the America: Phoenix and San Francisco. However, the company was from the day one ambitious to make its operations accessible in other parts of the country.
The Waymo One, on a tour in LA, has been deployed on its fifth stop in Koreatown, a neighbourhood in LA, till February 4, 2024, according to the description of latest Waymo One update.

Get free Waymo rides in Los Angeles
The update added that LA residents who are willing to get a ticket in person must join Waymo's mini pop up on 1/24 outside the Silver Lake Erewhon from 12 PM-4 PM.
To experience the driverless ride-hailing service in an electric Jaguar I-Pace, Waymo is offering — even free rides to selected people that are “available around the clock” — its service in LA residents of six neighborhoods that are:
- Santa Monica: October 11 to November 18
- Century City: November 20 to December 17
- West Hollywood: December 17 to January 7
- Mid City: January 8 to January 23
- Koreatown: January 24 to February 8
- Downtown LA: February 9 to March 3
Waymo One will then reach Century City and continue all the way to Downtown LA.
The Waymo One Tour utilises a ticketing system that enhances the concert-like experience of this Los Angeles trial. Users can get tickets for any of the six mentioned areas by signing up on the waiting list, which is accessible online or through the Waymo One mobile app for both Android and iOS.
