As Amazon’s Republic Day sale gets closer, the internet is buzzing with rumours and speculations surrounding the discount offer from the e-commerce giant.
However, Amazon itself has kicked off the teasing session on its official website, hinting at some jaw-dropping offers coming this year on countless products, with smartphones, laptops and many other electronic items topping the list.

Besides some impressive sales, Amazon is also granting customers a noble privilege: instant discounts on transactions made through accepted bank cards. SBI Bank customers will be given a 10pc instant discount on credit card and EMI transactions, Gadgets360 reported.

Buyers can also opt to exchange an older, eligible device to get further discount on the product being purchased via Amazon’s official website.
Amazon Republic Day offers
As per the landing page for the sale, the upcoming sale will bring offers of up to 40 per cent off on smartphones and accessories, with 5G smartphones starting at INR 9,999 and up to INR 50,000 off on eligible smartphones.
Likewise, laptops and smartwatches will be available with discounts of up to 75pc, while smart TVs and other appliances will be listed on a 65pc lower price tag.
When will the Amazon Republic Day sale start?
Considering that last year Amazon was greenlighted on January 15, it is much anticipated that a similar timeline will be followed this year.

According to the company’s official website, the exclusive advantage which Amazon Prime subscribers are going to enjoy is that of early access, meaning that the discount offers will be made open for them ahead of the actual launch of the sale.
